This jaw-dropping video of bride’s father dancing on Pushpa’s Oo Antava has conquered one and all

There’s a video from a wedding that’s going viral for all the right reasons. In the video, a bride’s father is dancing to the popular song Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava from the movie Pushpa: The Rise. So engrossed in the performance, the father impresses one and all present.

The video begins with the father making a royal entry onto the stage, quite like actor Allu Arjun does in the song. There’s a young crew behind him, trying to match his steps. But all eyes are on the father who flaunt the perfect moves and can be seen thoroughly enjoying it. The guests cheer him and he then gets a standing ovation.

The choreographer who shared the video on Instagram captioned it, “When (the) bride’s father takes over the dance floor.”

The video was shared a week back and has accumulated close to 10 lakh views and around 75,000 likes. It is further getting shared on other platforms and everyone is so happy to see the father dancing that there are hundreds of comments praising him.

“He stole the showwwww,” commented a user. Another one wrote, “The best thing I saw on Instagram today. Dad got some real swag.” Another Instagram user said, “Wowww man he overshadowed everyone.” “What an amazing performance,” reads a comment. A user said, “Oh my I thought it was amir Khan dancing.”

The amazing dance by this father got an Instagram user worried. The song being his father’s favourite too, he got thinking what if his father did a similar performance on his wedding; that would mean taking away the attention from the groom. His comment goes, “This is my father’s current favourite song to vibe on. Dar lagra kahi meri shadi ke liye prepare nah karre ho. Mujhse jyada focus wo chin lenge aise to (I’m scared he could be preparing for my marriage. He will steal the focus at my wedding).

Pushpa: The Rise is a Telugu movie that stars superstar Allu Arjun in the lead role opposite actress Rashmika Mandanna. Samantha Ruth Prabhu made a cameo appearance with Allu Arjun in the song Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava. The song went on to become a huge hit across India.
