The Wolverine is coming to Fortnite – Times of India

The Fortnite and Marvel crossover wave does not seem to be letting up as now Marvel’s legendary mutant James Howlett ‘Logan’, famously known as The Wolverine, is set to make his debut in the battle royale game. As announced by Epic Games on a blogpost, the X-Man will arrive as Wolverine Zero Outfit in the August 22 Crew Pack. Wolverine Zero is the version of the anti-hero from the Fortnite x Marvel: Zero War comics.
“This Crew Pack goes live for active Fortnite Crew subscribers at approximately July 31, 2022, at 8 PM ET!”, says the blogpost.
Apart from the Wolverine Zero Outfit, the Fortnite August Crew Pack brings more content like the Muramasa Blade Back Bling and the Best Fight You Ever Had Loading Screen
The Muramasa Blade is “a legendary blade forged by a demon swordsmith that can be unsheathed if you have the included Pickaxe* version equipped.”
Additionally, “Active Fortnite Crew subscribers who log in during No Sweat Summer will automatically receive the special Cuddle Cerise Style of the Ice-Blasted Snow Crunchem Back Bling (in addition to the default Style).”, says the blog post.
As part of the crossover and to celebrate the launch of Thor: Love and Thunder, Marvel’s Odinson Thor and The Mighty Thor had arrived in the game as part of the Gods of Thunder pack in the Item Shop sometime back. The pack came with two Back Blings, two Pickaxes, two Gliders, plus an Emote and Loading Screen.
Odinson Thor’s items included Thor’s Cape Back Bling, Stormbreaker Pickaxe, Stormbreaker’s Flight Glider and Bring The Hammer Down Emote. When it comes to Jane Foster’s The Mighty Thor, her items were Mighty Thor’s Cape Back Bling for the new Thor, Reformed Mjolnir Pickaxe and Mjolnir’s Flight Glider.
