The Tecno POP 7 Pro is said to be an entry-level smartphone. The smartphone was launched in Nigeria for 64,000 Nigerian Naira (approx Rs 11,428). So, the POP 7 Pro is expected to be launched as a budget phone in India as well. It has to be noted that the predecessor of the smartphone was unveiled for Rs 7,999.
The smartphone comes in three colour options – Endless Black, Uyuni Blue, and Nebula Purple.
TECNO POP 7 Pro specifications
In terms of specifications, the Tecno POP 7 Pro features a 6.6-inch LCD with 720p resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It sports a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13MP primary camera and a QVGA depth sensor. A 5MP sensor is equipped in the front for selfies and video calls. It offers two RAM options – 3GB of RAM or 4GB of RAM – and 64GB of internal storage. The smartphone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging via a USB-C port.
The upcoming smartphone is said to be a rebranded version of the Tecno Spark Go 2023, which was launched in India and several other markets in January. The smartphone was launched for Rs 6,999 for the 3GB + 32GB storage variant. Both smartphones share a lot of specifications. As the Tecno Spark Go 2023 has already been launched in India, it will be interesting to see how the upcoming Tecno POP 7 Pro will be different from Tecno Spark Go 2023 in the country.
