The company has confirmed that the Tecno Phantom V Fold will be launched in India on April 11th. It will be available for purchase as an early bird offer on Amazon from April 12th. As per the company, the Tecno Phantom V Fold will be manufactured in the Noida factory, which is now capable of producing 24 million phones on an annual basis.

Tecno Phantom V Fold price in India, specifications

Initially, the company announced that the price of the Tecno Phantom V Fold in India is Rs 89,999 for the model with 12GB+256GB of storage and Rs 99,999 for the one with 12GB+512GB of storage. But as part of the early bird offer, the smartphone will be available for Rs 77,777 for a limited period.

The Tecno Phantom V Fold boasts a novel, aerospace-grade drop-shaped hinge with a fixed-axis rotate and slide mechanism and a self-designed reverse snap structure that enables flawless, crease-free folding. In terms of specifications, the smartphone has a 6.42-inch FHD+ LTPO outer AMOLED dual 10Hz-120Hz display. The main screen is ultra-flat and has dual-high brightness and dual-high colour accuracy. It has a 7.65-inch 2K 10-120Hz LTPO AMOLED display.

The Tecno Phantom V Fold sports a triple rear camera setup – a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 50MP 2x portrait lens. It comes with a 32MP selfie camera on the external screen and a 16MP selfie camera placed on the inner display.

The foldable smartphone comes offers the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset and paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It houses a 5,000mAh battery with fast charging support of 45W.

The Tecno Phantom V Fold has an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone has 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB Type-C, among others.
