Tata Nexon EV Jet Edition launched in India: price, design, features

The Jet Edition has also been introduced in the Tata Harrier, Tata Safari and ICE-powered Tata Nexon models. Tata Motors, in the past, has introduced special edition models such as Dark Edition and Kaziranga Edition. In the case of the Tata Safari, the company also offers Adventure Persona and Gold Edition models also. The Indian manufacturer suggests that these special edition models contribute to over 15 percent of a model’s sales figures. 

Tata Nexon EV Prime and Nexon EV MAX Jet Edition price

The models bring along some cosmetic changes and luxurious touches to achieve this. The Tata Nexon EV Prime in its XZ+ Lux Prime Jet variant has been priced at Rs 17.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The long-range Tata Nexon EV MAX gets two variants XZ+ Lux MAX Jet, and XZ+ Lux MAX Jet AC FC WMU and are priced at Rs 19.54 lakh and Rs 20.04 lakh, respectively (both ex-showroom) respectively.

Both the Nexon EV Prime and Nexon EV MAX get a new shade of paint that Tata calls Starlight. The body is finished in a shade of Earthy Bronze, while the top half (roof and pillars) are finished in a shade of Platinum Silver. The highlights along the body have been finished in matte black. The diamond-cut Jet Black wheels have a dark gunmetal finish.

On the inside, the dashboard and door cards get Bronze treatment and also get gloss Black and Black highlights. The leatherette on the seats is finished in Oyster White with contrasting Bronze stitching. The front headrests also get “#JET” embroidered in Bronze on them to add to the premiumness. 

The Jet Edition models are based on the XZ+ LUX trim level, which is the top-end variant, and will hence come kitted out to the brim with features such as multi-mode regen, cruise control, sunroof, digital gauge cluster, wireless charger and more.

The vehicles have not undergone any mechanical updates and remain identical to the outgoing model.
