Synopsis
Between digital vows and physical woes exists the world of Uber and Ola. The cab aggregators have clearly failed to deliver on their promises to both drivers and customers. As hefty commissions and unfavourable terms continue to hurt drivers, customers are increasingly complaining about poor service quality. And both these factors are resulting in dwindling business for both.
India’s decade-old relationship with Uber and Ola seems to be going through a midlife crisis.
