First laptop to come with Windows 11?
It is expected that the flagship Surface laptop of 2021 will be one of the first devices to ship with Windows 11. To recall, Windows 11 was unveiled in June earlier this year after a gap of six years. The Windows 10 OS version was unveiled in 2015. Microsoft usually holds its hardware event in October, which is why it is being said that the upcoming Surface laptop could be the first device to ship with Windows 11 pre-installed.
For other Windows laptop users, the latest OS update is expected to be available for download later this year when PCs with Windows 11 operating system will officially start selling. This means, if you are using a Windows 10 computer then you will get the update for free if your device offers 4GB of RAM, 64GB of free storage space and a 64-bit 1 GHz dual-core processor.
Quite recently, Windows and Devices chief Panos Panay revealed a new Focus Sessions feature that will be part of Windows 11 update on Twitter and called it a ‘game-changer.’ Microsoft’s Focus Sessions allows users to select a task from a list of tasks for a particular Focus Session. Post this, it will allow users to select the time limit for that task with support for optional breaks in between.
