Sony WF-C700N: what we know so far
According to the MySmartPrice report, the Sony WF-C700N will come in four colour variants — white, black, green and purple. It will feature an elongated cylindrical charging case that looks similar to what OnePlus offered with its older generation Buds, but is different from what Sony previously offered with its WF-1000XM4. The earbuds have a similar design to the latter, with a circular no-stalk design and eartips.
The earbuds will charge via USB-C, and take 90 minutes to fully charge. It will also take 10 minutes of charging to offer one hour of playback. With noise cancelling switched on, the C700N will offer a claimed 15 hours of playback. Finally, there will also be multi-device connectivity with the WF-C700N, which will allow users to switch between two actively connected Bluetooth devices simultaneously.
In terms of the feature set, the Sony WF-C700N will seemingly come with digital noise cancellation with wind noise suppression, and Sony’s trademark Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) HX, which will upgrade streaming tracks to the highest possible quality.
There is no word so far on the pricing of the Sony WF-C700N earbuds, but given that the C500N was priced at Rs 5,990, the C700N should be priced at under Rs 10,000 as well.
The Sony WH-1000XM5’s blue colour variant, meanwhile, is also expected to launch soon — although it is not clear as to which markets would Sony release the new variant in.
