snoop dogg: Snoop Dogg to Elon Musk: “May have 2 buy Twitter now” – Times of India
Now that Elon Musk has put the Twitter acquisition on hold, rapper Snoop Dogg has expressed his desire to take over the microblogging platform. In a tweet, he joked about acquiring Twitter to which Elon Musk responded with a fire emoji. Snoop’s reaction to the emoji was: “You bring the fire I will bring the smoke”.

The rapper even has the new members of the board of directors figured out. “Gonna replace the board of directors with Jimmy from my corner Fish Fry, Tommy Chung and that guy with the ponytail on CNBC (Pete Najarian),” he tweeted. He added that he’ll introduce several changes like making the internet free on aeroplanes and making all the Twitter accounts verified with the blue checkmark “even tha bots with 10 letters in their name that hit you in DMs (and) just say: ‘Hello’”.
As for Elon Musk’s plans should the Twitter deal go through, the tech billionaire intends to free the microblogging platform from spam bots and fake accounts. A spambot or a fake Twitter account could account for a surge in the activity on the platform through manipulation, intended to mislead people. Such accounts violate the Twitter spam policy. Fake accounts could be automated to create fake engagements on Twitter and show false numbers of followers to make people believe they are genuine.
In addition to his war on the spambots, Musk might also make Twitter lift the ban on ex-US President Donald Trump, who, however, said that he won’t be coming back to the platform as it’s got boring.
