Shriram Trans Fin rises 1.3% as Sensex slides

The stock of Shriram Transport Finance Company Ltd. commanded a market value of Rs 31098.95 crore, according to BSE.
The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 11.59, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 1.18. Return on equity (ROE) was at 10.42 per cent, according to exchange data.
In the BSE500 pack, 149 stocks traded in the green, while 352 stocks were in the red.
The stock’s beta value, which measures volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.69.
Promotor/FII Holding
Promoters held 26.45 per cent in Shriram Transport Finance Company Ltd. as of 31-Mar-2022 while foreign portfolio investors and domestic institutional investors owned 53.88 per cent and 5.3 per cent, respectively.
