Chedkhaniyan, the second song from Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s upcoming movie Shehzada, is out. Kartik took to social media on Tuesday to share the song and it features almost the entire cast of the film.
The song begins with a shot of Kartik’s family, which includes Manisha Koirala, Ronit Roy and Ali Asgar. Everyone is decked up for a celebration. Kartik is in a shimmery, deep blue kurta and Kriti is in a bright blue lehenga. It shows Kartik dancing with a bunch of guests and with Kriti. At several moments, he gets emotional looking at the love between Manisha and Ronit.
The song is sung by Arijit Singh and Nikhita Gandhi and has music by Pritam. Fans of Arijit Singh were over the moon after the song’s release. “Arijit isn’t just a word, it’s emoition for millions of peoples across the world,” read a comment on the YouTube video. “Every Bollywood song is incomplete without Arijit Singh voice,” wrote another fan.
Kartik also got some praise in the comments section. “Seeing kartik aaryan’s progress made many youth feel proud,” wrote a fan. “On behalf of all Kartik Aryan fans in the world we wish this movie a great success,” read a comment.
The first song from the film, Munda Sona Hoon Main, was sung by Diljit Dosanjh and Nikita. It was picturised on Kartik and Kriti.
Helmed by Rohit Dhawan, the film also marks the debut of Kartik as a producer. Talking about the film, Rohit said, “The trailer just gives a small taste of what the audiences are in for! A great family entertainer, Shehzada is a grand cinematic experience for all generations.” Producer Bhushan Kumar said, “It was a great time working on Shehzada, we wanted to launch the trailer in mass way to connect to the larger audiences, I’m super ecstatic with the response the trailer has got!”
Shehzada is an official Hindi remake of the Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramloo which starred actor Allu Arjun in the lead role. Kartik will also be seen in director Kabir Khan’s upcoming untitled film and Hansal Mehta’s next Captain India.
