‘She succumbed to depression’, Upasana mourns death of friend and designer Prathyusha Garimella

Telugu star Ram Charan’s wife Upasana Kamineni is sad and upset by the sudden demise of celebrity fashion designer Prathyusha Garimella.She expressed her grieve on Twitter with a picture with her ‘bestie’ Prathyusha. In an emotional note, Upasana wrote, “My bestie my dearest friend. Gone too soon – Upset/ Pissed / Sad She had the best of everything, career, friends & family – yet succumbed to depression. Post this incident, truly believe that karmic baggage passes through lifetimes. We pray for her peace.”

Even stylist Shravya Varma shared a note on mental health and how she is shaken by Prathyusha’s untimely death. Taking to her Instagram, she says, “We have so many ways to go but letting our own mind be our worst enemy is possibly the most criminal way for your loved ones to endure to see you leave this planet.”

The 36-year-old fashion designer was found motionless in the washroom at her boutique studio in Banjara Hills by her family members on Saturday afternoon.
She allegedly died by suicide. In a purported suicide note, she stated that no one is responsible for her extreme step and that she was feeling lonely and stressed and that she did not want to become a burden on her parents anymore.
Prathyusha Garimella has worked with many top Tollywood and Bollywood stars in her career including Sajal Aggarwal, Shriya Saran, Madhuri Dixit, Huma Qureshi, Raveena Tandon, Bhumi Pednekar, Parineeti Chopra, Juhi Chawla, Gauahar Khan, and Neha Dhupia among others.
