Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the gained 2.62%.
The best performers of the session on the were Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Co (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.95% or 1.56 points to trade at 17.24 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:) added 9.95% or 0.93 points to end at 10.28 and Saudi Chemical Company (TADAWUL:) was up 9.94% or 2.70 points to 29.85 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Hammadi Co (TADAWUL:), which fell 26.92% or 13.15 points to trade at 35.70 at the close. Saudi Industrial Export Co (TADAWUL:) declined 9.98% or 4.60 points to end at 41.50 and Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (TADAWUL:) was down 9.96% or 7.90 points to 71.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 192 to 42 and 5 ended unchanged.
Shares in Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (TADAWUL:) fell to 52-week lows; down 9.96% or 7.90 to 71.40.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.09% or 2.26 to $110.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.10% or 1.25 to hit $115.38 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.20 to trade at $1,840.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.40% to 3.96, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 104.07.
