Samsung has been testing the Expert RAW app support for its older flagship smartphones. And with the latest update for the app, Samsung has finally added support for Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 2. The app is now officially available for these smartphones and it can be downloaded from the Samsung Store app.
Apart from the added device support, the latest update for the Expert RAW app does not bring any new features or improvements.
For those who aren’t aware of the Expert RAW app, it is Samsung’s answer to Apple’s Pro RAW feature and it allows users to shoot photos in 16-bit RAW and also offers the option to directly edit the photos in the Lightroom app. Apart from that, the app also lets users control focus, shutter speed and ISO.
In addition to the Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 4, the app is also available for Galaxy S22 series phones which include Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+. Along with this, the app is also available for recently launched flagship smartphones — Galaxy Z Fold4 and Galaxy Z Flip4. Also, the company added support for the app to Galaxy S21 series earlier this year.
