samsung: Samsung Smart Monitor M8 launched in India: Specifications, price – Times of India

Samsung has launched the Smart Monitor M8 in India. The smart monitor was first introduced during the CES 2022. The M8 went on pre-orders last week. It is the successor to last year’s Smart Monitor M5. The company is offering some additional benefits on the purchase of the Smart Monitor M8.
Samsung Smart Monitor M8: Price, availability in India
The Samsung Smart Monitor M8 is priced at Rs 59,999. The monitor will be available to purchase in India starting June 15. It can be brought through Samsung’s online store, Amazon and authorised stores across the country. The M8 comes in four colours – Daylight Blue, Spring Green, Sunset Pink and Warm White. However, Daylight Blue and Warm White colourways will be available later this year.
Samsung India is offering Galaxy Buds 2 and Smart Wireless Keyboard worth Rs 11,999 and Rs 3,499, respectively, to customers who pre-book the Smart Monitor M8 between June 10 to June 14 for free. Further, they also get an instant discount of Rs 3,000, BookMyShow and The Body Shop vouchers worth Rs 500 each.
Samsung Smart Monitor M8: Specifications, features
The Smart Monitor M8 is a 32-inch 4K monitor having a 3000:1 contrast ratio, a refresh rate of 60Hz, 400 nits of brightness and HDR10+ support. It features a 10W 2.2 speaker setup comprising a pair of tweeters and woofers. The monitor runs TizenOS and comes with a dedicated remote controller. The monitor can also be used to watch OTT content with support for apps like Netflix, Apple TV+, Disney+Hotstar, YouTube and Samsung TV Plus. The M8 also features Amazon Alexa, Bixby, Auto Source Switch+, AirPlay 2, SmartThings Home and Ultrawide Game View.
The new M8 smart monitor comes with a SlimFit camera, supporting face tracking and auto-zooming. Furthermore, the monitor comes with a height-adjustable stand which can also be tilted accordingly. The connectivity options on Smart Monitor M8 include two USB-C ports (one with USB PD 65W charging support), a micro HDMI port, Bluetooth 4.2 and WiFi 5.
