samsung: Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 may come with a slightly bigger battery – Times of India

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 packed a 3300mAh battery which wasn’t much as per modern smartphones’ standard. Despite the fact the smartphone could manage to last the whole day under normal usage conditions, the battery life has room for improvement.
It seems that Samsung is taking the battery capacity of the Galaxy Z Flip 3 successor seriously and is planning to offer a slightly bigger battery this time.
Dutch publication GalaxyClub has now reported that Galaxy Z Flip 4 might come with a larger battery. The publication has mentioned that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 with model number SM-F721 will come with two battery setup. The publication has also revealed the battery model codes — EB-BF721ABY and EB-BF722ABY– of the upcoming flip phone from Samsung.
The report claims that the EB-BF721ABY will have a battery capacity of 2400mAh, while the EB-BF722ABY of 903mAh. Both combined together will have a total of 3,303 mAh battery which is 103mAh bigger than the Galaxy Z Flip 3. That suggests the typical battery size of the phone will be 3400mAh.
Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 4 later this year and as per reports, the handset will come with some design changes and bring a new hinge design which will be more sturdy than the ongoing model.
