Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5 launch timeline tipped

South Korean tech giant Samsung is prepping to unveil its much-anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 this year. The company usually launches its foldable phones at its Galaxy Unpacked event, which generally takes place in August. However, this year, the company might hold the event in the last week of July instead of August.

According to a new report, moving the event a few weeks earlier could narrow the time difference between the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the rumoured Google Pixel Fold. The upcoming Google device is anticipated to be unveiled during Google I/O 2023, which is scheduled for  May 10th.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series, Samsung Galaxy Watch 6, and even new earbuds are expected from Samsung later this year. It is now said that the next Galaxy Unpacked event for the South Korean tech giant may take place in the last week of July, specifically between July 25th and July 27th.

Every year, Samsung has its second big Unpacked event in August, so this would be a big change, though it might not be all that shocking. It’s probable that Samsung doesn’t want to give the competition too much breathing room because the market for foldable smartphones is heating up, and Google is getting ready to release the Google Pixel Fold, as per the report.
