Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Flip 5 launch date announced; pre-reserve portal opens in India

Samsung has officially announced the launch date for its Galaxy Unpacked event, where the company will unveil a host of products including the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5 foldable phones.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked date, time, live stream

You will be able to tune in to Galaxy Unpacked on July 26, 7 PM IST through Samsung’s official website and YouTube channel. The event will be live-streamed and should include all details on the brand’s upcoming devices. The company has also started a pre-reserve session in India ahead of the event.

The brand had earlier confirming that the event will be held in Seoul, South Korea, in July. This is the second Unpacked this year as the brand launched Samsung Galaxy S23 and Book 3 series earlier in February in San Francisco, but we have a new location this time around, the company’s home turf.

Samsung’s home country also houses its global headquarters and the event’s scale is expected to be bigger this time. The developments suit what could be a major refresh to its flagship foldable phone lineup, tablets, and smartwatches.

Pre-reserve begins on Samsung India website

Samsung is expected to unveil the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 foldable smartphones at Galaxy Unpacked. Other products include Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9 Plus, and Tab S9 Ultra flagship tablets. Fan favorite rotating bezel is returning with the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic which is expected to tag along with the more affordable Galaxy Watch 6 smartwatch. It remains to be seen if Samsung has any other products planned for an unveiling.

Samsung has started taking pre-reservations for all three of the upcoming lineups in India through its website. A refundable pre-reserve pass can be bought for Rs 1,999. In return, you could become one of the first ones to own the new Galaxy devices and also get a Rs 5,000 E-voucher which can be utilised on the Samsung Online shop.
