Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic design leak shows rotating bezels are back
Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic: what we know so far
To be sure, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic does not look drastically different from its previous generations based on the renders, thus suggesting that Samsung is keeping its physical makeover at a minimum level. The approach appears to be similar to Apple, which has also struck out a signature wearable design with the Apple Watch. However, the renders do suggest the return of the much-liked physical rotating bezel that Samsung’s smartwatches have had for long.
Samsung had interestingly removed the physical rotating bezel from its smartwatches in last year’s Galaxy Watch 5 series, instead using a virtual touch bezel for watch face navigations. However, based on the leaked renders, it appears that the smartwatch series is likely to bring back the fan favourite feature.
Other key features and details of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic are yet to be revealed in full detailed. A GSMArena report claimed to reveal a select range of specifications of the upcoming smartwatch, which includes a 46mm watch case size of the Classic variant, and 44mm on the standard variant. It could also get a marginally larger display size, at 1.47 inches, and with 470 x 470 pixels screen resolution. The Classic is also expected to get a 425mAh battery — which is 3.6 percent, or very marginally, larger than the battery of the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.
Samsung could also reveal more details of software enhancements, including how it is jointly developing Wear OS with Google. More details should be revealed in the coming weeks.
