Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 got a price cut of Rs 8,000 – Times of India

Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch 4 in August last year. The company launched two variants of the smartwatch — Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. Now, one variant of the smartwatch has received a price cut of Rs 8,000. Samsung has slashed the price of the Bluetooth variant of the Galaxy Watch 4 44mm.

Samsung launched the 44mm Bluetooth variant of the Galaxy Watch 4 at Rs 26,999. The wearable has got a price cut of Rs 8,000 and it can now be purchased at Rs 18,999. The smartwatch can be purchased in black, green and silver colour options.

The smartwatch comes with a 1.2-inch AMOLED display with 396×396 pixel resolution. The Always On Display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The wearable comes with BioActive Sensor, which according to the company is a 3-in-1 sensor that uses a single chip to precisely run three health sensors — Optical Heart Rate, Electrical Heart and Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis. This means that this sensor will be able to make the Galaxy 4 series monitor blood pressure, detect irregular heartbeat and measure blood oxygen levels.
The smartwatch also comes with support to measure the Body Composition measurement tool gives users a deeper understanding of their general health and fitness, with key measurements like skeletal muscle, basal metabolic rate, body water and body fat percentage. Other than this, the device can also keep a track of your calorie counts and sleep patterns.
In terms of hardware, Samsung has equipped the smartwatches with Exynos W920 SoC and paired them with 1.5GB RAM. The wearables also pack 16GB of onboard storage.
