The event will be streamed live on Samsung.com, Samsung Newsroom, and Samsung’s YouTube channel beginning at 4:30 p.m. IST,” said the company in a statement.
The Unpacked event will take place at COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam.
What Samsung is expected to launch at Galaxy Unpacked event
Samsung is expected to unveil its next generation foldable smartphones at the July Galaxy Unpacked event. The company is said to launch Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Watch 6 series and Galaxy Tab S9 series at the event.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 expected specs
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 is tipped to house a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED main display with variable refresh rate. The flip phone is rumoured to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The foldable smartphone is expected to be backed by a 3,700 mAh battery and run Android 13 out-of-the-box.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 expected specs
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 is said to sport a 7.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The foldable smartphone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and runs Android 13 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of One UI 5.1. The smartphone is tipped to be backed by a 4,400 mAh battery with fast charging support.
