Samsung Galaxy F42 to launch in India today: Expected specs and price – Times of India

Samsung will expand its F series smartphone range in India today. The company will launch the Samsung Galaxy F42 at 12pm. The upcoming phone is teased on e-commerce site Flipkart. The handset will be a 5G enabled phone. It will come with up to 12 band 5G support and will house a 5,000mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy F42 will feature a full HD+ Infinity V screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The handset will be equipped with a triple camera setup at the back. It will offer a 64MP primary rear camera with a dedicated night mode.
The handset is rumoured to come powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. It will be offered in Black and Blue colour options.
The smartphone is expected to feature a side mounted fingerprint scanner. As mentioned above, the phone will offer support for 12 5G bands. These will N1 (2100), N3 (1800), N5 (850), N7 (2600), N8 (900), N20 (800), N28 (700), N66 (AWS-3), N38 (2600), N40 (2300), N41 (2500), and N78 (3500).
Samsung Galaxy F42 is expected to come with a USB Type-C port for charging. It may also offer a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The smartphone is rumoured to come in two RAM models- 6GB and 8GB. The handset may be priced at Rs 20,999 for the 6GB RAM model. While the 8GB RAM variant may cost Rs 22,999.
