Samsung has announced a new affordable laptop, called the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go. It features some interesting hardware, such as an Intel Jasper Lake processor. The 10nm processor is tailor-made for ultra-low-power devices and it’s good to see them in action. Although it is unclear as to how much the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go will cost, we can expect it to fall on the reasonable end of the spectrum, given that it is a Chromebook and all. Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Go ships with a 14-inch HD (1,366 x 768) TFT panel. An Intel Celeron N4500 processor powers it, along with and 4/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 32/64/128GB of eMMC storage. There is no option to add a dedicated GPU, meaning that users have to stick with the Intel Xe iGPU. One can also expand upon that with a micro-SD card. It ships with a 720p webcam, headphone jack, and a nano-SIM card slot.

Other features include a USB Type-C port and a USB 3.2 Type-A port. Lastly, the notebook packs a 42Wh battery that supports 45W fast charging. It weighs only 1.45kgs, putting it on the lighter end of the spectrum. The Chromebook runs on Chrome OS.
