Samsung Galaxy A71 gets November 2021 Android security patch – Times of India
Samsung is reportedly rolling out November 2021 security update to the Galaxy A71 phone. According to a report by Sammobile, the handset is being upgraded to firmware version A715FXXS7BUK1 that brings the latest Android security patch to the device.
Along with the security patch, the update also comes with fixes for security vulnerabilities found in the Galaxy A71. It also comes with general bug fixes and overall device stability improvements.
The new security patch is currently available in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Panama, Peru, Puerto Rico, and Trinidad & Tobago. As per the report, the update could be released in more markets over the next few days.
Those interested can check the new software update by heading to Settings > Software update and clicking on Download and install.
Samsung Galaxy A71 was launched in February last year. The handset has a 6.7-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O screen. The phone’s display offers a refresh rate of 20:9 and 1080×2400 pixel resolution.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 octa-core processor paired with 8GB of RAM. For camera duties, the handset offers quad rear camera setup. The camera system comprises a 64MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens and a 12MP secondary sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens. There is also a 5MP depth sensor and a 5MP macro lens.
At the front, the phone has a 32MP camera for selfies. The device is backed by a 4,500mAh battery and comes with support for 25watt fast charging. 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port are the connectivity features available on the phone.
