The Samsung Galaxy A14 (4G) has launched in the Indian smartphone market as a new entry level model and its specifications seem unique yet similar. 

Samsung has crafted the Galaxy A14 (5G)‘s successor as a rendition of the Samsung Galaxy S23. The phone has been around as a 5G compatible model until now. However, the brand has another model in the budget-friendly price category which is comparable after the launch of this new affordable version of S23. The device has currently been launched in the Malaysian market which is our reference point for the specifications.

If you compare the Galaxy A14 with the Galaxy M14, the two models share the same camera setup with a triple camera system with 50.0 MP + 5.0 MP + 2.0 MP with a front camera 13 MP. 

The smartphones also flaunt a 6.6-inch PLS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. Now let’s explore what all the two models, apart from the 5G connectivity offered by Galaxy M14, have to offer. Both the devices are priced at ₹13,999 in India.

Samsung Galaxy A14 and M14: Memory

The Galaxy A14 4G model offers a 4GB RAM with 64GB of storage where the external storage can be extended up to 1TB. However, the Galaxy M14 runs on 4GB and 6GB RAM with storage ranging from 64GB to 128GB of storage model. 

Samsung Galaxy A14 and M14: Battery

Another difference that can be spotted in the two models under the same category is the battery capacity they hold. Galaxy M14 holds a battery capacity of 6000mAh while Galaxy A14 holds up to 5000mAh. This is a major difference between the two for performance and long lasting battery usage.

Samsung Galaxy A14 and M14: Processor

The two models have different processors which is one of the major changes for the two models being in the same category. The Galaxy M14 operates on Android 13 with One UI core 5.1 and is powered by Exynos 1330 (5nm) and runs on an octa core processor with Mali-G68 MP2. 

However, the Galaxy A14 is powered by Android 13 with One UI Core 5 and operates on a combination of Mediatek MT6769 Helio G80 (12 nm) – Version A, and Exynos 850 (8nm) – Version B. The device runs on an octa core processor as well with Mali-G52 MC2.
