Samsung Exynos 2200 chipset to launch on January 11 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Samsung is all set to launch its latest Exynos chipset. The South Korean tech giant has confirmed that it will launch the new Exynos 2200 chipset on January 11. The company will launch the processor one week after CES and it is also the rumoured launch date for the Galaxy S21 FE.
The upcoming Galaxy S22 smartphone series, which is expected to launch in February next year, is expected to be powered by Exynos 2200. Samsung took to Twitter to reveal the launch date of the new Exynos chipset.
Samsung Semiconductor tweeted, “#PlaytimeIsOver. The gaming marketplace is about to get serious. Stay tuned for the next #Exynos with the new GPU born from RDNA 2. January 11, 2022.”

Exynos 2200: What we know so far
Leaks and rumours have already highlighted several aspects of the upcoming Exynos chipset. The most important bit is the inclusion of the AMD GPU that’s expected to bring substantial improvements to the graphics performance over previous generations.
Apart from that, the new chip will most likely harness ray-tracing capabilities as well due to the mRDNA graphics processor. Apart from that the chip will have a max clock speed of 1250MHz and will support 144Hz refresh rate, 5G connectivity, the latest version of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
