‘Sabse Aasan Snack’: Amul Celebrates International Yoga Day In Its Trademark Style

0

It’s June 21 and International Yoga Day is being observed in different parts of the world. Since we are still in the middle of the novel coronavirus pandemic, everyone is exercising caution. Yoga has come in handy, especially during the lockdown when most people couldn’t go to the gym and had to rely on home workouts to stay fit. To celebrate the day, Amul has also shared a quirky creative on Instagram and Twitter in its characteristic style. Amul captioned its post on Instagram: “Amul Topical: Celebrating World Yoga Day!”.

The cartoon features the famous Amul mascots performing yoga. While one of the Amul girls is standing, the other one is sitting on the yoga mat and meditating. On the cartoon, the text read: “Bread In, Bread Out. Amul Sabse Aasan Snack (the easiest snack)”.

Within three hours of being shared, the post garnered over 3.2k likes. Take a look:

Another one, @quizwithmanas. wrote: “Super duper #Amul Topical #InternationalYogaDay #InternationalYogaDay2021.”

Here are some more reactions and tweets:

Last month, through another quirky topical, the diary brand had paid ode to the F.R.I.E.N.D.S reunion. Its cartoon had an image of the six iconic characters from the show gazing at two big blocks of butter. Amul had captioned the post, “A must at reunions.” Using the trademark font of F.R.I.E.N.D.S, Amul further added, “Have with B.R.E.A.D.”

Before that, in April, Amul had dedicated a topical to the popular Korean band, BTS. The 7-member band had live-streamed a video of a melting butter cube. As the video went viral, Amul joined the trend and released a topical featuring the band members.

Earlier, in March, when India cricketer Jasprit Bumrah got married to television presenter Sanjana Ganesan, Amul had paid a cute tribute to the duo. Take a look:
