Rog: Asus ROG Phone 7 series goes on sale: Price, specs and other details – Times of India

Asus sub-brand Republic of Gamers (ROG) recently launched the ROG Phone 7 series in India. The lineup includes the latest ROG Phone 7 and 7 Ultimate smartphones. The Asus ROG Phone 7 series is now available in India. The company claims that India is amongst the Phase 1 market for sales of the ROG Phone 7 series globally.
Asus ROG Phone 7 series: Price and availability
Asus ROG Phone 7 Series is available at Vijay Sales (both online and offline), Asus India e-Store and select Asus exclusive stores and select ROG stores. Physical demo experiences of these smartphones are also available at select Vijay Sales stores.
The ROG Phone 7 with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 74,999. Asus is offering the smartphone in two colour variants – Phantom Black and Storm White. It has a two-tone slash design and the ROG Aura RGB logo.
Meanwhile, the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate comes with 16GB RAM, 512GB storage and the ROG Vision PMOLED rear customisable display s priced at Rs 99,999. This smartphone has a motorised ‘AeroActive Portal door and copper heatsink fins for accelerated cooling in conjunction with the AeroActive Cooler 7.
Asus ROG Phone 7 series: Key details
The models in this series sport a 165Hz 6.78-inch AMOLED HDR10+ display that supports a touch sampling rate of up to 720Hz and 23ms touch latency, with peak brightness up to 1500 nits. These new smartphones also come powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform along with GameCool 7 cooling system.
These smartphones offer console-like gaming with AirTrigger Ultrasonic trigger buttons and 10 Motion Control Gestures for Game Control. They are also equipped with 7-magnet Symmetrical Stereo loudspeakers powered by Dirac Audio and Dirac Virtuo for stereo spatial immersion. These phones also support a 3.5mm headphone jack and world’s first with a sub-woofer for attached 2.1 sound, offering up to 77% more bass

The Ultimate variant’s AeroActive Cooler 7 also doubles up as a subwoofer, allowing extended portable 2.1 sound on smartphone. The gaming smartphones further offer a 50MP Sony IMX766 Flagship rear camera that offers low-light performance, 8K recording, EIS and HDR10 for videos, along with 32MP front camera that also supports 4K with EIS.
These smartphones also have a 6000mAh split battery design for less heat and faster charging, powered by up to 65W HyperCharge (inbox 30W HyperCharge adapter). Both smartphones are Wi-Fi 7-ready. The latest Wi-Fi 7 up to 320 MHz channels, and Multi-Link Operation, which means, users can connect to different frequency bands at the same time. The exclusive ROG HyperFusion technology further boosts the internet connection speed by combining both 4G/5G cellular connections and Wi-Fi.
