Revolt RV400 review

The Revolt RV400 is one of the early entrants in the EV two-wheeler space in India. Most of the fundamentals on the RV400 are sorted and thus deliver a well-rounded experience. There is no strong competition and hence not much to compare to and the electric bike segment remains a niche in the market. The 150km range, LED lighting, generous ground clearance and swappable battery pack have played out to be strong points on the RV400. However, the ageing tech hardware on the RV400 might turn off buyers especially with scooters offering more connected and cohesive features integrated into a colour touch-based dashboard.

Pros

  • Striking design
  • Good range
  • Smart features

Cons

  • Ageing product with no follow-up upgrades
  • Dwindling presence in the market
