Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is all set to widen its Note Series with the launch of the Redmi Note 12 Pro Series in India on 5th January 2023. The line-up will include 2 smartphones as of now- Redmi Note 12 Pro & Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus. The brand has revealed some specs for the Redmi Note 12 Pro via its Twitter handle.

Redmi Note 12 Pro: Confirmed specs

The landing page reveals that the Note 12 Pro will sport an AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and support for Dolby Vision. The smartphone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset and also support Dolby Atmos. The primary camera will have OIS and the smartphone promises to have a long day battery life with a single charge of 15 minutes.

Redmi Note 12 Pro: Expected Specs

Since the Note 12 Pro has already launched in China, we know about its specs. The Indian variant is expected to have the same specs. It will have a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The phone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset with up to 12GB RAM and Mali G68 GPU along with 256GB storage. It might pack a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. At the back, the phone has a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. There will be a 16MP selfie camera at the front.

Redmi Note 12 Pro: Expected price

The smartphone is available in China for CNY 1699 so it might come to India for around Rs. 20,000.
