Xiaomi is prepping up to roll out the latest generation of Nore series smartphones in the Indian market. Speculations are that the Xiaomi Note 12 series could make an entry into the market pretty soon. The series has already been launched in China; however, the Indian variant of devices is expected to carry a different set of specifications. Apart from the 5G lineup of the series, a 4G phone named Remdi Note 12 Pro has made its appearance online.

It is expected that the Redmi Note 12 Pro will be a rebranded ole-generation smartphone. In a report published by Xiaomi, the specifications and features of the device have been revealed. High chances are that the handset will be a rebranded Redmi Note 10 Pro for the Indian and the global market.

What can we expect?

The Redmi Note 12 Pro carries the model number 6a, which resembles Redmi Note 10 Pro, which has the model number K6. Talking about the possibilities, the Redmi Note 12 Pro could be a Note 10 Pro with some design enhancements. Rumours have it that other specifications of the smartphone will be similar to the Indian Note 10 Pro Max. As for the specifications, we can get to see a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display along with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone could run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G processor paired with high-capacity RAM. It will run on MIUI 13, based on the Android 12 operating system.

In terms of optics, we can get to see a quad rear camera setup consisting of a 108MP primary shooter, 8MP ultra wide-angle shooter, 5MP macro shooter, and a 2MP depth shooter. On the front, the device may rock a 16MP snapper for the sake of video calls and selfies. The smartphone will pack a 5020mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Until now, there is no word on the launch date of the smartphone. However, we can say that the smartphone could make its debut in December 2022 or January 2023.
