Last month, a report hinted that the company would launch the Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G soon as it received the NBTC certification. It is likely to be launched as Redmi Note 11 Pro 2023, as per the report.

Under the Redmi Note 12 5G series, the company has already launched three smartphones in India, including the Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G at a starting price of Rs 17,999. Redmi Note 12 4G spotted on IMEI Database

According to the source, the IMEI database contains three variants of the upcoming smartphone. There will most likely be two Redmi Note 12 4G models. Models 23021RAAEG and 23028RA60L are intended for international and Indian markets, respectively, which do not support NFC. Additionally, the Indian version’s codename is probably “tapas”. The report has revealed the Redmi Note 12 4G will range from 4GB+64GB to 8GB+128GB in terms of RAM and storage. It will come with Android 13-based MIUI 14.

Xiaomi has not yet confirmed the existence of the smartphone.

Redmi Note 12 5G specifications

It is unsure if the Redmi Note 12 4G will carry the same specifications as the Redmi Note 12 5G. The latter features a 6.67-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It sports a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. There’s a 13MP camera for selfies. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset and packs a 5,000mAh battery.
