Redmi Note 10S to get new 8GB+128GB variant
The Redmi Note 10S was introduced in the Indian market back in May of this year. Now, despite having launched the Redmi Note 11T 5G and also having a timeline for the launch of the Redmi Note 11 series, Xiaomi seems to be interested in introducing a new variant of the older Redmi Note 10S. The Redmi Note 10S is said to receive a new variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The Redmi Note 10S will now have three variants on offer – 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB.
The Redmi Note 10S gets a 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display panel with a 409PPI count but is limited to 60Hz of refresh rate. The hole punch cut out on the top of the display houses a 13MP front camera. At the back, there is a 64MP quad-camera set up and supports shooting 4K footage at 30fps. Under the hood, the Redmi Note 10S gets an Helio G95 processor from MediaTek and comes coupled with Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. The device draws power from a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. Amongst other features, the Redmi Note 10S gets a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, IP53 certification, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, dual speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack, IR blaster, etc. The device runs on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11 out of the box.

The news on the addition of the new variant has not yet been confirmed by Xiaomi. If launched, we expect the Redmi Note 10S 8GB+128GB variant’s price in India to be around Rs 18,499. The 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB variants are currently priced at Rs
