Redmi A1+ launched in India: Price, availability, specs and more – Times of India

Xiaomi’s subsidiary brand Redmi has expanded its A-Series smartphone lineup in the country with the launch of the new Redmi A1+ handset. As per the company, the Redmi A1+ smartphone packs versatile features at an affordable price for first-time smartphone users. The handset comes powered by a MediaTek processor and packs a 5,000 mAh battery unit.
Redmi A1+: Price, availability and colour options
Redmi A1+ is priced at Rs 7499 for 2GB+32GB and Rs 8499 for 3GB+32GB variant. During this festive season, users can get the Redmi A1+ smartphone for Rs 6,999 and Rs 7,999, respectively, until October 31. The latest handset is available in Light Blue, Black, and Light Green colour options.

Redmi A1+: Features and specifications
Redmi A1+ features a 6.52-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz touch sampling rate. The smartphone is powered by a 12nm Quad-Core MediaTek Helio A22 processor coupled with IMG PowerVR GE-class GPU. The new Redmi A1+ packs 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 512GB.
The smartphone houses a 8MP dual camera set-up and sports a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The latest handset is backed by 5000mAh battery and claims to offer a two-day battery life.
Redmi A1+ also comes with a pre-installed FM radio app, a 3.5mm jack, and speakers on the top. The phone features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for easy unlocking and runs on Android 12 operating system.
