Redmi 10 Prime spotted on Bluetooth SIG certification website, India launch imminent | 91mobiles.com

Redmi 10 Prime, which made an appearance on the IMEI database earlier this week, has now received the Bluetooth SIG certification and the handset’s launch in India seems imminent at this point. If there was any doubt about the handset’s name, the Bluetooth SIG listing clearly mentions model number 21061119BI as Redmi 10 Prime, which means that at least for the Indian market, you can expect the phone to be launched under the name Redmi 10 Prime. The Bluetooth SIG listing shows that the model numbers 21061119AG, 21061119AL, and 21061119DG, all belong to the Redmi 10 series as well.

The Bluetooth SIG listing doesn’t reveal a lot about the upcoming Redmi 10 series smartphones but shows that both Redmi 10 and Redmi 10 Prime will feature Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and run MIUI 12.5 out of the box. While an official poster from the brand recently confirmed that the Redmi 10 will feature a 50MP quad-camera setup at the back, the phone’s specifications and design were accidentally revealed on the official website earlier, so we pretty much already know what we can expect from the smartphone. Unfortunately, there are not many details available regarding the Redmi 10 Prime specifications at the moment.

Redmi 10 specifications

Moving on to the revealed Redmi 10 specifications, the upcoming handset from the brand features a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The Redmi 10 is fuelled by MediaTek Helio G88 SoC, coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage. In terms of optics, as we mentioned earlier, the Redmi 10 offers a 50MP quad-camera system and an 8MP front-facing camera. The smartphone’s lights are kept on through the day thanks to a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. For security, the brand has included a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, embedded in the power button.
