NEW DELHI: Realme is all set to expand its Narzo smartphone series in India. The company has confirmed that it will launch the Narzo 50 5G and the Narzo 50 Pro 5G smartphones in the country. The company has scheduled an event for May 18, where it will launch the two smartphones. Currently, the Narzo 50 series includes four smartphones, the Narzo 50i, Narzo 50A, Narzo 50 4G and Narzo 50A Prime.

Realme will be hosting a live event on its official YouTube channel, and its social media handles at 12:30 PM on May 18.
Realme Narzo 50 5G expected specifications
As per various online rumours, Realme Narzo 50 5G is said to come with a 6.58-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2408 pixel resolution. The smartphone is tipped to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset paired with up to 6GB of RAM.
The 5G-enabled smartphone is expected to pack 128GB internal storage which can be expanded further by installing a microSD card. The smartphone is said to run Android 12 operating system and sport a dual rear camera with 13MP main sensor and 2MP secondary sensor. Realme Narzo 50 5G is rumoured to house an 8MP front camera for selfies.
The device is expected to be backed by a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G confirmed specifications
The company has confirmed that the Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset. The smartphone will come in two variants — 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB.
Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G will come in two colour options — black and blue. The smartphone will run Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of Realme UI.
Realme Narzo 50 series expected price
As per rumours, Realme Narzo 50 5G is said to be priced under Rs 15,000, while the Pro variant is tipped to be priced under Rs 20,000.
