Realme GT Neo 5 may launch at MWC 2023 next month – Times of India

Realme is all set to expand its Realme GT series of smartphones. The company is expected to unveil its first smartphone with 240W fast charging support.
Multiple online reports suggest that Chinese smartphone maker Realme may launch its Relame GT Neo 5 smartphone at MWC 2023 (Mobile World Congress). MWC is scheduled to take place between February 27 to March 2 in Barcelona, Spain. Realme GT Neo 5 is the first smartphone of the company to come with 240W fast charging support.

Realme GT Neo 5 expected specifications
Recently, the likely specifications of the upcoming Realme smartphone also surfaced online. The Realme GT Neo 5 is said to house a Sony IMX890 primary sensor with OIS support.
The smartphone is said to come in two variants. The Realme GT Neo 5 with a 5000mAh battery is said to come with 150W fast charging support, whereas the one with a 4600mAh battery is said to support 240W fast charging support. Realme GT Neo 5 is tipped to feature a 6.7-inch 1.5K OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate.
The upcoming Realme smartphone may house a triple rear camera with 50MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP macro shooter. The smartphone is expected to come with a 16MP selfie shooter.
Realme GT Neo 5 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset paired with 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB internal storage. The smartphone may run Android 13 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of UI.
Realme recently launched the Relame 10 smartphone in India. The price of the smartphone starts at Rs 12,999 and it features a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone comes with a dual camera setup comprising of an f/1.8 50MP primary sensor and an f/2.4 2MP B&W sensor, replacing the 8MP ultrawide camera on the Realme 9. On the front, the smartphone has a 16MP OV16A1Q sensor for selfies.
