realme 9 series: Realme 9 series launch confirmed, company to reveal more details on September 9 – Times of India

Smartphone major Realme has scheduled a virtual event on September 9. At the event, the company will announce new products that include Realme 8s and Realme 8i along with Realme Pad tablet. Now, Realme India CMO, Francis Wong, has officially announced the launch of Realme 9 series phones.
In a post on microblogging site Twitter, he also said that the company will reveal more information about the upcoming phones at the September 9 event.
“As you all know, #realme launches two generations of Number & Pro every year (one for H1, another for H2). Ppl are now asking abt realme 9 series, we have a big announcement to make on the upcoming launch 8s & 8i event on 9th Sep. So book your calendar and watch it live” Wong wrote in the tweet.

When will the Realme 9 series launch?
Every year, Realme launches two generations of Number and Pro series phones. One of them is announced in the first half of the year followed by the other in the remaining second half. While Realme has launched Realme 8 series in H1 2021, Realme 9 was expected to come in H2.
With the tweet, Realme India CMO has confirmed the launch of Realme 9 series phones in the country. He, however, has not revealed the month as to when the company plans to unveil the series smartphones. There is no information about the features and pricing of the upcoming handsets.
Realme 8i and Realme 8s launch on September 9
Meanwhile, Realme 8i and Realme 8s will be introduced on September 9. The smartphones are expected to come powered by MediaTek processors. Realme 8s may come with a 90Hz refresh rate display, while Realme 8i is rumoured to offer a 120Hz refresh rate screen. Both the handsets are said to offer a battery capacity of 5000mAh and a 16MP camera at the front.
