TV host-turned-actor Ratan Pratap has been creating a lot of buzz lately. Whether it is his recent walk as a showstopper at a fashion week, his speculated acting debut or his airport looks, Ratan is one name netizens can’t get enough of.
Sharing his journey, Ratan said, “I am happy that I am able to do what I love. I am from a small town and when I came to Mumbai, I did not know anybody. I walked into offices introducing myself to everyone, waited for hours to meet producers and struggled a lot to even get a hosting gig in the beginning of my career. But when I got my first talk show, that’s when I realised the value of my work. I started taking my profession seriously and that’s when I reliased the importance of the platform I was given.”
Ratan has been very clear about his career choices. According to reports the young star has said no to acting on TV shows and to participating in reality shows as a contestant. When asked about the same, he clarified, “I am not interested in doing just anything for fame and money. I had decided early on that I will work on projects that I can also watch as a viewer. Also, I haven’t made any such resolution that I won’t act on TV. If I am offered a part that I actually like I will most definitely do it. ”
