Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 vs MediaTek Dimensity 9000: Which one has the better AnTuTu scores? – Smartprix
While MediaTek has already launched its latest flagship chipset, its main competitor Qualcomm is expected to launch its crown jewel later this month. This year both brands have changed the naming scheme for their respective offering. MediaTek has named its Dimensity 9000, and Qualcomm’s chip would be called Snapdragon 8 Gen1 and it is expected during the company’s annual Tech Summit starting on November 30.
But before it gets officially launched, the first AnTuTu benchmark scores of the Snapdragon 8 Gen1 are out. Reports claim that Snapdragon 8 Gen1 (SM8450) has been benchmarked while featuring in the Realme GT 2 Pro (RMX3300), which is the Realme’s upcoming flagship smartphone.

It has received an AnTuTu score of 1025215 which is way better than the 850,000 scores of the Qualcomm 888+. Meanwhile, Dimensity 9000 (MT6983) had got an AnTuTu score of 107396, which had made it the first chipset to break the 1 million mark on Android. But now it would soon be getting a new challenger in the form of Snapdragon 8 Gen1.
Realme GT 2 Pro Expected Specs
It is expected to feature a 6.5-inch FHD+120Hz OLED screen, up to 12GB RAM, and 256GB storage capacity. In the camera department, it is said to feature a 108MP main+ 8MP ultra-wide angle+ 5MP depth/macro cameras. There will also be a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
It is rumored to be powered by a 5000mAh battery and if the latest reports are true, then Realme might tease the GT2 Pro at the upcoming Snapdragon Tech Summit starting from November 30.
