PUBG New State vs Battlegrounds Mobile India: What’s different? – Smartprix

Battlegrounds Mobile India, aka BGMI, was released for Indian users after PUBG Mobile was banned. Millions of players have downloaded the game since its release in July, the same as PUBG Mobile. BGMI has similar graphics and gameplay to PUBG Mobile; however, it has a few differences that make it stand out.

In a recent announcement, Krafton touted that it would bring PUBG New State to India and opened pre-registration for iOS and Android users. Let’s explore how PUBG New State differs from BGMI.

PUBG New State vs. BGMI: Gameplay and graphics

PUBG New State and BGMI are battle royale games with similar gameplay mechanics on the gameplay front. The gameplay of BGMI is more uncomplicated, while that of New State is more dynamic and has more advanced features. Game elements include futuristic goods such as vehicles and weapons, which are also set in the future in 2051.

On high-end smartphones, high-definition BGMI graphics can be set to Ultra-HD just like they can on PUBG Mobile. A far higher quality of pictures can be found in New State. According to its developer, with global illumination technology, the new game will have natural sunlight and shadow effects. PUBG New State will significantly exceed expectations in terms of graphics when it releases.

An announcement trailer for PUBG New State was released earlier this year. This new version features ultra-realistic graphics that are much better than those of PUBG Mobile and BGMI.

BGMI and PUBG New State: System requirements

In terms of the system requirements, there isn’t much difference between both games. The graphics in PUBG New State require a powerful mobile device. According to reports, a high-end smartphone can offer a refresh rate of up to 90 fps. You will need a device with Android 6 or higher, at least 4GB RAM, to run PUBG New State. iOS users will play this game on iPhone 6S or later with iOS 13 or higher.

The best Android device to use for BGMI is one with 2GB of RAM and Android 5.1.1 or higher. If you’re using iOS, you need an iPhone running iOS 9.0 or higher with 2GB of RAM.

PUBG New State and BGMI: Maps 

Since PUBG New State is a brand new game with entirely new graphics and gameplay, you can expect a new map. The game will feature a brand new map called Troi, which will take place in the year 2051, according to Krafton. Several details about the map were revealed in the teaser video. Multiple locations will be involved, including a mall, a convention center, and so on. It has a size of 8*8 km wide. Future maps will also have a similar size.

In contrast, PUBG Mobile has similar maps to BGMI. In addition, you receive other maps such as Sanhok, Livik, and Karakin.

PUBG New State and BGMI: Weapons and vehicles

It also introduces new items such as electric vehicles, trams, and search drones with PUBG New State. In addition to their unique way of playing the game, these vehicles are different from the ones found on PUBG Mobile or Battlefield Mobile. One of the new electric vehicles is called Vulture, and it’ll be spawned across the map. 

A new weapon will be added to the game, including the MK47 Mutant with auto-firing. In addition, you can equip better scopes on firearms that did not support the feature in BGMI.
