PS Plus Essential free games for July 2022 announced: Crash Bandicoot 4, Man of Medan, and more

In July, PS Plus Essential will get Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time for PS5 and PS4, The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan for PS4, and Arcadegeddon for PS5 and PS4. These games will be available to claim for PS Plus Essential, Extra, and Deluxe members from July 5th to August 1st. Players can claim this month’s PS Plus Essential games like God of War, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker, and Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl until July 4th.

Sony recently launched the brand-new PS Plus service in India with Essential, Extra, and Deluxe tiers. The service now offers access to hundreds of games and perks, based on the tier you purchase. While Essential is pretty much the same as the older PS Plus, the Extra and Deluxe tiers offer access to much more games. PS Plus Extra and Deluxe tier members get several PS5 and PS4 games from first-party and third-party devs. Besides these, Deluxe tier members also get time-limited trials for certain games as well as classic PlayStation games.

Since India has a massive PlayStation user base, it wasn’t surprising to see the new PS Plus service get a great response. The new PS Plus reportedly had record-breaking sales in the country, and many existing members were happy to upgrade to higher tiers like Extra and Deluxe, thanks to more games and perks.
