Pregnant Sonam Kapoor gets family’s love on new photoshoot: Anand Ahuja calls her a portrait, Rhea says ‘desi Aphrodite’

Actor Sonam Kapoor, who recently announced her pregnancy, shared new pictures on Monday from her latest photoshoot. Her husband Anand Ahuja and other family members showered love on the new pictures. Sonam’s sister Rhea Kapoor, who had also styled the mum-to-be for the photoshoot, compared her to a Greek goddess as she commented on the pictures. Taking to Instagram on Monday, Sonam shared several photos as she posed in ethnic wear. In the pictures, Sonam opted for a cream coloured satin saree and accessorised with heavy traditional jewellery. She wore a long neckpiece, large earrings, and several bangles. The actor opted for silver juttis and kept her hair loose.

Sonam gave several poses for the camera. Sharing the pictures she captioned the post, “Last night for my @abujani1 birthday evening. In @abujanisandeepkhosla and @kapoor.sunita styled by my baby @rheakapoor @abhilashatd.”  

Her sister-producer Rhea Kapoor shared two pictures from the photoshoot on Instagram, and wrote “@sonamkapoor giving Desi Aphrodite in @abujanisandeepkhosla and jewels by @kapoor.sunita #happybirthday @abujani1.”

Meanwhile, other family members dropped comments on Sonam’s post. Her father Anil Kapoor dropped several red heart and heart-eyes emojis. Her husband Anand Ahuja commented, “Real life portrait. (heart eyes emoji) @sonamkapoor.” Anshula Kapoor wrote, “Loveeee (red heart emojis).”

Swara Bhasker dropped yellow heart emojis. Amy Jackson wrote, “Stunning”, Padmini Kolhapure commented, “Stay blessed.” Esha Gupta wrote, “Uff Sonam.” Maheep Kapoor, Nargis Fakhri, and Abu Jani dropped red heart and heart-eyes emojis.

Sonam and Anand announced their first pregnancy on Instagram last month. The actor also dropped a few images in which she can be seen cradling her baby bump while lying on the couch as Anand held her.

Sharing pictures, she wrote, “Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you. #everydayphenomenal #comingthisfall2022.”

Sonam and Anand tied the knot in 2018 in a traditional wedding ceremony in Mumbai. Currently, Sonam is in Mumbai. She has a crime thriller Blind in the pipeline.
