After 2 years of development, Kim revealed 2-Step Cleats to the world through Kickstarter. It offers two different clipping positions – Front Position and Rear Position. Front Position keeps your feet secured the same way that regular cleats do while the Rear Position pushes the cleats back by 13mm and is coined “Power-saving Mode” as it reduces strain on the calves while pedaling. As a result, uphill climbing and long distance rides become a lot more manageable for cyclists.
