Poco C51 to launch on April 7 in India: Here’s what the smartphone will offer – Times of India

Poco launched the Poco C55 smartphone in February this year. Now it appears that the Chinese smartphone maker is all set to expand the C-series of smartphones. Poco has confirmed that it will launch the Poco C15 smartphone in India. The company will launch the Poco C51 smartphone on April 7 in India. Flipkart accidentally listed the smartphone on its website confirming the launch date and specifications. The listing was later removed.
The Flipkart listing confirmed the key specifications and colour options of the smartphone. The smartphone is also confirmed to come in blue and black colour options.
Poco C51 specifications
The Poco C51 will sport a 6.52-inch HD+ display with 720×1600 pixel resolution. The smartphone is confirmed to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G36 chipset paired with up to 4GB of RAM. The company has also confirmed that the smartphone will come with 4GB of virtual RAM support.
Poco C51 will offer 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 1TB by adding a microSD card. The upcoming budget smartphone of the company runs Android 13 Go Edition and the smartphone maker has also promised to offer two years of security update to the smartphone.
Poco C51 will come with dual SIM support and will come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The yet-to-launch Poco smartphone will feature a dual rear camera setup with 8MP main sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a secondary camera. Front is home to a 5MP selfie shooter.
Poco C51 will be backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.
Last month, Poco launched the Poco X5 smartphone in India. The smartphone comes with a starting price tag of Rs 18,999 and it is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset. The smartphone sports an FHD+ display and runs Android 12 operating system. The smartphone is home to a 48MP main sensor and a 13MP selfie shooter. Poco X5 is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
