Oppo Reno 8T receives Bluetooth SIG certification: Expected specs revealed – Times of India

Chinese smartphone maker Oppo recently unveiled the Oppo Reno 9 series for its domestic market. The latest Oppo Reno 9 series is expected to hit global markets in the first quarter of 2023. However, the company doesn’t seem to be done with the last series as it is planning to launch another Reno 8 series handset which is expected to arrive for international markets before the Reno 9 lineup. The Oppo Reno 8T handset was earlier spotted on multiple certification sites including India’s BIS and Malaysia’s SIRIM. According to a report by GizmoChina, the upcoming smartphone has now been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification site with the model number CPH2481. These certifications have revealed a few key specs of the Oppo Reno 8T.
Oppo Reno 8T: Expected specs and availability
Oppo is expected to release Reno 8T smartphone in markets like — India, Europe and Southeast Asia. The Bluetooth SIG listing has revealed that the Oppo Reno 8T will support Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and will run ColorOS 13 out-of-the-box.

Previous certifications have revealed that the upcoming handset will offer 33W wired fast charging. No other details about the phone’s specifications are available yet. More information is expected to arrive before the device’s launch. Oppo is rumoured to launch the Reno 8T for global markets even before the latest Reno 9 series smartphones.

Oppo expanded the Reno 8 series in India with the new House of the Dragon edition of the Reno 8 Pro smartphone. The device is now available for purchase via the e-commerce portal Flipkart. This limited edition phone sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Dimensity 8100 Max chipset, backed by 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
This smartphone has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro unit. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone is equipped with a 32MP front-facing shooter.
The limited edition of the Reno 8 Pro handset packs a 4,500mAh battery unit with 80W fast charging support and an in-display fingerprint scanner. This device also boots the ColorOS 12.1 custom skin based on Android 12.
