oppo: Oppo announces ColorOS 12 rollout timeline for its smartphones, check if your smartphone is in the list – Times of India

Oppo has already rolled out the stable ColorOS 12 (based on Android 12) update for several smartphones including Find X2, Reno6 Pro 5G, Reno6 Pro 5G Diwali Edition, Reno6 5G and Reno5 Pro 5G.
Alongside rolling out the stable version, the company has also rolled out the beta version of the ColorOS 12 for Oppo A74 5G smartphone.
The company has now confirmed that starting January 18, 2022, the final version of ColorOS 12 will be available on Reno5 Pro 5G and F19 Pro+ smartphones.
Similarly, starting February 2022, the beta version will be extended to Reno4 Pro, F19 Pro and F17 Pro devices. And, the beta version will also be available for Oppo A53s smartphone in March.
How to update your Oppo smartphone to ColorOS 12
Devices that are receiving the stable version of the UI, will receive a notification automatically. Users will need to tap on the notification to download and install the update.
Users can also check for the update manually by heading to Settings > Software Update option.
To enroll into the beta program, users will need to register their devices into the beta program via their official website.
ColorOS 12: Features
ColorOS 12 update brings several new features to the smartphones. This includes UI customisation, three-finger translation, FlexDrop, Private System and more.
ColorOS 12 features a brand-new style acrylic icon, borderless design and new interface frame. The latest UI from the company also offers quick-view cards or widgets. The OS skin also comes with new Omoji, which is a digital avatar based on ordinary cameras and face capture algorithms.
ColorOS 12 also brings cross-screen interconnection which enables users to connect the smartphone to PC.
In addition to these, ColorOS 12 also includes Android 12 features such as Privacy Dashboard, GPS, microphone and camera indicator when in use and more.
