NEW DELHI: OnePlus launched its affordable smartphone — OnePlus Nord CE 5G in June this year. The company is now working on its successor which is expected to launch soon. A recent online report revealed that the Chinese smartphone maker is expected to launch the OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G in the first quarter of 2022. Now a new online report has surfaced online revealing the likely specifications of the yet-to-launch smartphone.
According to an online report by 91Mobiles, the upcoming OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G is said to sport an AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is also said to feature a similar design as the OnePlus 9 series. Ditching its old design, the OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G is expected to come with a punch-hole display and same camera arrangement as the OnePlus 9 series.
The smartphone is expected to be powered by a MediaTek processor and is said to support 65W fast charging.

OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G is said to feature a full HD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The smartphone is expected to come with a Fluid AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate.
The mid-range smartphone is likely to be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor paired with 6GB/8GB/12GB of RAM. The handset is said to come in two storage variants — 128GB and 256GB.
The OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G is said to run Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of OxygenOS 12. The dual SIM smartphone is expected to feature a triple rear camera with 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2MP macro camera. The selfie lovers are said to get a 16MP front camera.
OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G is expected to house a 4,500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

Another online report revealed that the company might price the 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage variant under Rs 28,000.
