OnePlus Nord CE 5G will be on open sale in India starting from today. OnePlus Nord CE price in India, specifications, and availability details were revealed last week on June 10th. The handset comes as a cheaper alternative to the original Nord that was unveiled in July 2020. The phone has a familiar design with a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, a rectangular module for the quad-camera setup, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. The phone has a polycarbonate build and omits the popular Alert Slider to keep the price on the lower side. OnePlus Nord CE 5G: Should you buy?
In our OnePlus Nord CE 5G review, we said that the phone has its strengths in the form of clean and ad-free software that should get timely updates, impressive AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate, and 5G network connectivity. However, the shortcomings such as weak camera performance, tiny speakers, plastic build, and the lack of Alert Slider are potential deal-breakers. Despite the affordability, there seem to be better alternatives like the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, Mi 10i, Realme X7 and iQOO Z3 competing against the OnePlus Nord CE with cheaper price tags.
