OnePlus Nord Buds India launch date confirmed: design, expected specifications

After a lot of speculations, rumours, and leaks, OnePlus has finally confirmed the launch date of the OnePlus Nord Buds in India. On top of officially confirming the OnePlus Nord Buds moniker, the brand has now revealed that the OnePlus Nord Buds will launch alongside the OnePlus 10R 5G and the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite on April 28th, 7pm, in India. Not just that, OnePlus has also showcased the two colour variants of the OnePlus Nord Buds, alongside their respective cases. Let’s take a look.

OnePlus Nord Buds India launch confirmed, design officially teased

As seen in the promotional poster above, the OnePlus Nord Buds will launch in India on April 28th. The buds will be available in Black and White colour options. The OnePlus Nord Buds are supposedly going to be budget-oriented earbuds, as has been the case with the OnePlus Nord-series smartphones in the past.

OnePlus Nord Buds India expected specifications

So far, the brand has not officially revealed the specifications and features of the OnePlus Nord Buds, but previous leaks suggest that the buds will feature 12.4mm large drivers, a USB Type-C charging port, IP55 rating, 30 hours battery life, 94ms low latency, support for Dolby Atmos, Bluetooth 5.2, a 480mAh battery (for the case) and a 41mAh battery (for the individual earbuds).

It is worth noting that the OnePlus Nord Buds are likely going to be a rechristened OnePlus Buds N, which are going to launch in China on April 21st alongside the OnePlus Ace. The OnePlus Ace in itself will launch in India and in the global market as the OnePlus 10R 5G. Therefore, we might get a working clue of the potential price tag and the specifications of the OnePlus Nord Buds on April 21st, a week ahead of the Indian launch.
